BNP pay last respect to Hamidullah

Leaders and workers of BNP and its front and associate organizations today (Saturday) paid last respect to valiant freedom fighter Wing Commander (retd) M Hamidullah Khan (Bir Protik).

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia flanked by the party leaders paid last
respect to Hamidullah, the party’s freedom fighter affairs secretary,
by wrapping his coffin with the party flag and placing wreath when
his body was brought in front of the party central office at Nayapaltan at around 11:20 am

The third namaz-e-janaza was held in front of BNP central office when
special prayer was offered seeking divine blessing for the departed

Later, leaders and workers of Dhaka city BNP, Jubo Dal, Shechhasebok
Dal, JASAS and DAB and other organizations placed wreaths at the
coffin of Hamidullah.

Those present were Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Dr Khandaker
Mosharraf Hossain, Dr RA Gani, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Barrister
Rafiqul Islam Mia, Mirza Abbas, Sadeq Hossain Khoka, Khairul Kabir
Khokon, Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel..

The first janaza was held at Allahu mosque in Dhaka cantonment after
Esa prayer on Friday. Hamidullah Khan passed away on Friday
afternoon at Combined Military Hospital.

The fourth janaza was held at South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad after
which the body was taken to his village home in Louhajang.

The mortal remains of Hamidullah will be buried at Banani graveyard
in the capital tomorrow (Sunday).
