A fire has erupted in the cargo section
of New Delhi's international airport, but there are no reports of
injuries or deaths.
Deepak Singh, a New Delhi fire brigade official, says it took
more than three hours for 22 fire engines to bring the blaze at
Indira Gandhi International Airport under control early Thursday. He
says it will take more time to completely douse the flames.
TimesNow television channel said the fire destroyed cargo
awaiting clearance and gutted the offices of some airlines.
Singh says the cause of the fire is being investigated.
